Seminar: Stemming the tide - the impact of the pre-action protocol for mortgage arrears possession proceedings

Social landlords have been required to comply with a pre-action protocol in rent arrears possession cases since October 2006 the result has been a drop in the number of Court claims for possession issued. With effect from late autumn a similar, ground-breaking protocol will apply to mortgage arrears possession claims.
Seminar objectives:
Delegates will become familiar with the contents of the pre-action protocol as well as other regulatory/good practice material issued by the Financial Services Authority and Council of Mortgage Lenders.
